Pat has extensive experience in dealing with Solicitors Professional Indemnity Insurance. He has advised firms ranging from the largest to the smallest practice over many years and has been the Assigned Risk Pool Manager for many years and in that capacity he sits at the Professional Indemnity Insurance Committee of the Law Society.
Pat joined JLT Ireland Ltd in 1983. Having served in various different capacities, he was appointed Managing Director in 1995. Previously he worked with PWC for 6 years working in the Audit and tax departments.
He has served as a Council Member of the Insurance Brokers Association for three years when he chaired the Strategic Review Group and Technology Committees.

Ray O'Higgins
Director
Ray is a Chartered Insurance Broker, responsible for the management of the Corporate Broking Division of JLT Insurance Brokers Ireland Ltd. His main area of expertise lies within the General Broking Sector, where he specialises in large corporate insurance placements and advisory insurance services. Marcus Carey
Account Executive
Marcus started his insurance career in JLT Ireland in 1997. During this time he has been involved in many areas of the business ranging from Personal & Scheme Insurances to Commercial Insurance programmes. Marcus is currently an Account Executive on the Large Business Broker team in the Corporate Division and deals with the management and servicing for broad range of clients, from large indigenous companies to medium enterprises and small businesses.
Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science (Management & Law) Degree from Dublin Institute of Technology and Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Marcus has considerable experience in Professional Indemnity Insurance and has been heavily involved in arranging Solicitors Professional Indemnity Insurance for several years.

Gerry Lynch
Gerry is responsible for a diverse portfolio of existing Corporate business together with business development.
Gerry has over 30 years insurance industry experience. Prior to joining JLT in 2011 he was a director of BHP Insurances Ltd for the past 6 years. Prior to that Gerry held senior positions in the commercial insurance divisions of Marsh Ireland and Frank Glennon Limited, where he accumulated a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, particularly in the area of Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Anthony Burke
Operations Director
Anthony was recently appointed Operations Director of JLT Ireland, following the acquisition of Flood Maguire Robertson Ltd's client portfolio by JLT Ireland in 2011, where Anthony had been Managing Director since 1997. Anthony’s experience includes management and development of the brokerage and his main area of expertise lies within the General Broking Sector, where he specialises in large corporate insurance placements and advisory insurance services. He has considerable experience in Professional Indemnity Insurance for Solicitors and other professions. Anthony has a Diploma in Legal Studies and is currently completing an LLB in Irish Law in Griffith College.

Regional Managing Director
Dan joined JLT in 2005 and has worked over 30 years in the Insurance Industry. He has considerable expertise in the corporate insurance sector having spent almost 15 years as the Branch Manager for Assicurazioni Generali Spa.
Prior to joining JLT he worked as a broker for several years with Willis. He has been responsible for the development of several very successful niche products/schemes both from an underwriting and sales perspective.

John Murphy
Regional Director
John joined JLT in 2006, having worked in the insurance industry since 1995. He has over 15 years experience in dealing with corporate insurance programmes for various sized companies. Prior to joining JLT, John worked with Marsh and Aon where his responsibilities included dealing with large multi-national risks as well as large affinity scheme business.
John is responsible for handling all aspects of insurance programmes for large commercial & corporate clients at JLT Cork. He has considerable experience in working with client’s in varied industries to provide solutions for their insurance requirements and risk exposures.
John has a Diploma in Business Studies from Birmingham City University.

Rory O’Sullivan
Regional Director
Rory joined JLT in 2008 from Marsh where he was involved in the servicing of large Corporate Accounts. Rory spent 3 years with Marsh and prior to joining Marsh he spent 4 years as an Commercial Underwriter with Hibernian Insurance (now Aviva).
Rory holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and is currently studying for his ACII having already achieved the CIP qualification. Rory currently holds the position of Dinner Secretary in the Insurance Institute of Cork.
Rory has considerable experience in the placing and servicing of Professional Indemnity and Corporate Insurance programmes

Denis Magee

Denis joined JLT in 2004 and has built up considerable knowledge and expertise in Commercial and Corporate Broking in that time.
